Meditation provides us with a way to gain perspective and has a powerful effect on the mind and body. Meditation has been available for hundreds of years. What was once considered only a religious act is today helping people from all walks of life and all ages as people are making meditation a daily practice worldwide. Meditation is one of the most practiced self development tools that enhances inner happiness and growth. A daily practice of meditation can not only reduce stress it can also bring about greater mental peace and provide a greater link to life satisfaction.
Carolyn began meditating in college, over 40 years ago. Carolyn enjoys a daily spiritual practice that includes meditation. Carolyn has studied with some of the leading meditation teachers including Tara Brach, Jonathan Foust, Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg and Thich Nhat Hanh. And in 2010, Carolyn studied with and received an honorable blessing from H.H. Dalai Lama.
